Proposed redesign for the EXCEL for Youth program (Sonoma State University Extended Education)
Scope: logo and identity design, layout, print production, digital asset creation
For the EXCEL summer youth program, I create a proposed visual refresh. My goal was to develop a modern, engaging, and easily understandable design system. I decided to move away from the program's previous graphics that used animal characters and illustrations, instead opting for a simpler aesthetic. I utilized clean, bright colors and intuitive icons to represent the core learning categories. This approach allowed for clarity and accessibility, ensuring the program's offerings were instantly recognizable and appealing to young students.
The redesign was ultimately not used after the program was moved under different adminstration.
